Rise and Shine: Ready for Another Roofing Adventure
As the sun peeks over the horizon, I’m already up and preparing for another exciting day with Hart’s Roofing & Construction. My name’s Mike, and I’ve been part of the team for five years now. Today’s agenda includes a roof replacement in Portsmouth and a couple of repair jobs in Middletown.
6:30 AM: Gearing Up
I arrive at our headquarters, greeting my colleagues as we load up the trucks with materials and equipment. Safety is our top priority, so we double-check our harnesses and protective gear.
7:30 AM: On the Road to Portsmouth
As we drive to our first job, we discuss the day’s plan. The Portsmouth project is a complete roof replacement for a charming colonial home. The homeowners chose us for our reputation in providing top-notch roofing services throughout Rhode Island.
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Roof Replacement in Action
We arrive on site and get to work:
- Remove old shingles and inspect the underlying structure
- Replace damaged decking and reinforce weak spots
- Install new underlayment and flashing
- Begin laying new shingles
The morning flies by as we make significant progress on the new roof installation.
12:30 PM: Lunch Break and Travel
After a quick lunch, we head to Middletown for our afternoon repair jobs.
1:30 PM – 4:30 PM: Local Roof Repair in Middletown
The afternoon is spent tackling two repair jobs:
1. Fixing a leak around a chimney
2. Replacing damaged shingles from recent storm damage
These smaller jobs showcase our versatility in handling various roofing services.
5:00 PM: Wrap-up and Planning
Back at headquarters, we clean and organize our equipment, then have a brief meeting to discuss tomorrow’s projects in Newport and Warren.
