Early Morning – Getting Started
The day begins at 6:30 AM when my phone alerts me to another busy day serving our communities throughout the Tampa Bay area. After a quick breakfast and safety equipment check, I head to our headquarters to receive my service assignments for the day.
Morning Assignments
First stop is in Keystone, FL, where a homeowner needs an electrical panel upgrade. These older homes often require modernization to handle today’s power demands. While there, I:
• Inspect the existing panel
• Discuss options with the homeowner
• Begin the careful process of upgrading their service
Midday Tasks
After completing the panel upgrade, I head to Trinity for an emergency call. A business owner’s parking lot lights aren’t working, affecting their evening operations. This requires:
• Troubleshooting the circuit
• Testing voltage levels
• Replacing damaged wiring
• Verifying proper operation
Afternoon Service
The afternoon takes me to New Port Richey, where I perform a residential electrical installation for a home renovation project. This includes:
• Installing new outlets
• Updating light fixtures
• Ensuring code compliance
• Testing all new installations
End of Day
Before heading home, I complete my service reports and prepare for tomorrow’s assignments. Working for Wizard Electric means every day brings new challenges and opportunities to help our neighbors maintain safe, reliable electrical systems.
I take pride in knowing that each service call helps keep our Tampa Bay communities powered up and running smoothly, from Odessa to Seven Springs and everywhere in between.
